Information:Email: krootes-murdy@asmfc.org The ASMFC and MAFMC have scheduled an additional Advisory Panel webinar for Monday November 14th from 10 am to noon. The purpose of this webinar will be to provide input on a potential framework action to modify the dates of the commercial scup quota periods. This webinar will focus only on the commercial scup quota periods. This is a separate webinar from the one which will take place later that same week on recreational management measures for all three species. MAFMC has not yet initiated a framework action to modify the scup commercial quota period dates, but is considering doing so based on past AP recommendations. Such a change would require a complementary action by the ASMFC. The purpose of this webinar on November 14th is to review an initial analysis of the potential impacts of modifying the dates of the quota periods, to review input from the Monitoring/Technical Committee, and to provide the Council and Commission with additional feedback on this possible framework action.
