Conclusion
EPSA applauds the Commission’s initiative in making every effort to address the energy problems in the West. These interim measures may bring an important amount of additional power onto the system in the near term. However, we also agree with the Commission’s view that the longer-term solutions require more fundamental changes that can only be accomplished on a regional scale. We look forward to continuing to work with the Commission, its
Staff and other parties to achieve the goals set forth in Order No. 2000.
