II. Interventions

In Docket Nos. ER01-180-000 and ER01-181-000 the NYISO proposed that its current price caps be extended through April 30, 2001, and remain in place until such time as a superior alternative market protective mechanism can be implemented. This is due to an NYISO Board determination that “it is necessary to act to address conditions where an imbalance between supply and demand in the NYISO-administered markets renders them uncompetitive.”⁽³⁾ ^{The comments contained in this filing represent the position of EPSA as an organization, but not necessarily the view of any particular member with respect to any issue.
