MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME: STANDARDIZING GENERATOR INTERCONNECTION AGREEMENT AND PROCEDURES

CONCLUSION

The consensus process, to date, has been very intensive. The documents filed last Friday represent significant effort on the part of a wide range of industry participants. Clearly, it is in everyone’s common interest to complete this ANOPR process and move quickly to a NOPR and Final Rule on generator interconnection. However, the brief extension sought herein will not unduly delay the Commission’s process and will lead to more thoughtful and well-developed comments that should, in fact, enhance the ANOPR process.

Respectfully submitted,

January 16, 2002
