COMMENTS OF THE ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY ASSOCIATION ON THE WORKING PAPER ON STANDARDIZED TRANSMISSION SERVICE AND WHOLESALE ELECTRIC MARKET DESIGN

CONCLUSION

The Working Paper on Standardized Transmission Service and Wholesale Electric Market Design establishes the guiding principles for the rulemaking process for tariff standardization and the bulk of market design features that EPSA endorses for the creation of robust, competitive wholesale electric markets. EPSA has identified the areas that the Commission has not yet firmly resolved and offers its comments and suggestions on these issues. EPSA looks forward to participating in the rulemaking process and contributing to the Commission’s efforts to resolve issues that require further debate.
