COMMENTS OF THE ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY ASSOCIATION ON STANDARDIZING GENERATOR INTERCONNECTION AGREEMENT AND PROCEDURES
SUMMARY
In sum, EPSA is in complete agreement with the Commission that, in order for the electric power industry and, ultimately, the consumers of electricity, to realize the full benefits of competition, the interconnection process must be reformed, and reformed quickly. Now that the goals of the ANOPR process have been realized and the range of contentious issues narrowed, EPSA respectfully urges the Commission to move forward as expeditiously as possible with an interconnection NOPR that will surely facilitate the competition that both the Commission and EPSA have advocated for so many years.
