EPSA's Motion to Intervene and Comment in Support of Complaint of Michigan QFS

Motion to Intervene

EPSA is the national trade association that represents competitive power suppliers, including generators and marketers. These suppliers, who account for 40% of the installed generating capacity in the United States, provide reliable and competitively priced electricity from environmentally responsible facilities serving global power markets. EPSA seeks to bring the benefits of competition to all power customers.

Many EPSA members own qualifying facilities that could be affected by the outcome of this proceeding. Thus EPSA has a direct and substantial interest in the outcome of this proceeding that cannot be adequately represented by any other party. EPSA thus seeks leave to intervene in this proceeding. Given the interests of EPSA in this proceeding, Commission approval of this motion for leave to intervene would be in the public interest. 18 C.F.R. § 385.214.
