EPSA Comments on GRSI NOI
Preface
On May 27, 2005, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC or the Commission) issued a Notice of Inquiry (NOI) seeking comments on whether the Commission should require jurisdictional generators to provide the Commission with access to generator run status information (GRSI). The NOI asks whether this information can help ensure that generation resources are accurately represented and provide the Commission with the ability to promptly monitor and investigate market abuses and discriminatory behavior to ensure compliance with the Commission’s standards of conduct.
