Premise of Proposed Legislation Is Not Well-founded; Could Undercut Renewable Energy and Climate Change Measures, Says EPSA
Washington, D.C. -- The Electric Power Supply Association (EPSA) and the New England Power Generators Association (NEPGA) today released the attached letter to Sen. Bernie Sanders, Ind.-Vt., Sen. Olympia Snowe, R-Maine, and Rep. Tom Allen, D-Maine, expressing strong concerns with S.2660/H.R. 5547, proposed legislation concerning regional transmission organizations (RTOs) and independent system operators (ISOs).
The proposed legislation was introduced in both houses in February.
