Information:Email: kanstead@asmfc.org The Atlantic Menhaden Stock Assessment Subcommittee (SAS) will present the Technical Committee (TC) with the 2022 Atlantic Menhaden Stock Assessment Update for their edits, comments, and approval. The assessment is an update to the 2020 single-species benchmark for Atlantic menhaden and is scheduled to be presented to the Board during the Summer Meeting week (August 1-4, 2022). The 2020 Atlantic Menhaden Ecological Reference Point Assessment will not be updated, but the ERPs will be used to determine stock status and give management advice. Please note this is a working meeting of the TC & SAS. The public is welcome to listen in, but there will be limited opportunity to provide comments during the call/webinar. During conference calls/webinars, we ask that the public and other non-participating attendees please mute their lines in order to minimize distractions to the Committee’s deliberations.
